If you are interested in sponsoring a refugee—whether a stranger or someone you know—contacting the GCI Refugee Sponsorship Mission is simple. You can reach out directly to the organization’s Sponsorship Agreement Holder (SAH) office through their website, email, or phone. They will provide you with the necessary information about the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) Program and guide you through the application process. The mission will offer support in completing the required paperwork, understanding the financial and community responsibilities involved, and preparing for the arrival of the refugees. If you have someone specific in mind, they will assist in ensuring that the sponsorship is aligned with both the legal and humanitarian requirements for resettlement. Volunteering opportunities for those interested in assisting with the settlement process can also be discussed during this initial contact.
